Osteoarthritis

Hip Tendonitis

Inflammation of the tendons around the hip joint, such as the iliotibial (IT) band or gluteal tendons, can cause pain and discomfort.

Hip Dysplasia

This is a condition where the hip joint does not develop properly, potentially leading to instability and increased risk of other hip issues.

Piriformis Syndrome

The piriformis muscle, located deep in the buttocks, can become tight and irritate the nearby sciatic nerve, causing pain that radiates down the leg.

Bursitis

Inflammation of the bursae (fluid-filled sacs that cushion and reduce friction around joints) in the hip area can lead to pain and discomfort.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

An autoimmune condition that can affect the hip joint, leading to pain, swelling, and stiffness.

Iliopsoas Tendonitis

Inflammation of the iliopsoas tendon, which passes over the front of the hip joint, can cause pain during hip flexion.

Hip Infections

Infections in the hip joint can lead to pain, swelling, and limited mobility.
