Subacromial Impingement Syndrome

This occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff (a group of four tendons that stabilize the shoulder joint) become inflamed or irritated due to friction with the acromion (a bony projection above the humeral head).

Rotator Cuff Injuries

These injuries involve the tendons of the rotator cuff and can range from minor inflammation to complete tears. They are often caused by trauma or age-related wear and tear.

Rotator Cuff Tear

Involves the rupture or weakening of the rotator cuff tendons, which can cause pain and limit the range of shoulder motion.

Shoulder Tendinitis

Inflammation of the shoulder tendons can be caused by overuse, repetitive movements, or acute injuries.

Shoulder Instability

This can be caused by ligament injuries or excessive mobility of the shoulder joint, leading to dislocations (where the humeral head moves out of the joint socket).

Shoulder Arthritis

A degenerative condition of the joints that can cause pain, stiffness, and loss of function.

Shoulder Bursitis

Inflammation of the synovial bursae, which are small fluid-filled sacs that cushion and lubricate the shoulder structures, can cause pain and swelling.

Adhesive Capsulitis
(Frozen Shoulder)

A condition in which the joint capsule becomes inflamed and thickened, significantly restricting shoulder range of motion.

Shoulder Fractures

Fractures of the humerus (upper arm bone) or clavicle can occur due to falls or trauma.

Ligamentous Injuries

Injuries to the ligaments that stabilize the shoulder joint can occur due to trauma or excessive forces.
